Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions for Guardian, operated by Red Impact LLC. We want you to be satisfied with our service, and we aim to be fair and transparent about our billing practices.
2. Free Tier
Guardian offers a free tier with limited scans (3 scans/month) at no charge. You can evaluate the service before upgrading to a paid plan. No credit card is required for the free tier.
3. Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are billed at the start of each billing cycle. We do not offer prorated refunds for monthly subscriptions cancelled mid-cycle. When you cancel a monthly subscription, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier.
4. Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase date. To request a refund, contact support@tryguardian.dev within 14 days. Annual refunds are not available after 14 days. If you cancel after 14 days, you retain access until the end of your annual period.
5. Billing Errors
If you believe you were charged incorrectly (e.g., charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or charged after cancellation), contact us immediately at support@tryguardian.dev with your account email and the approximate charge date. We will investigate within 5 business days and issue a refund if a billing error is confirmed. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear.
6. Cancellation Process
To cancel your subscription: 1. Log in to your Guardian account 2. Go to Settings → Billing 3. Click "Cancel Subscription" 4. Confirm the cancellation You will receive a confirmation email. Your access remains active until the end of the current billing period. You can also contact support@tryguardian.dev to request cancellation.
7. Account Termination by Guardian
If we terminate your account for violation of our Terms of Service (e.g., unauthorized scanning, fraud), you are not entitled to a refund. If we terminate your account for reasons unrelated to your conduct (e.g., service discontinuation), we will provide a prorated refund for unused time.
8. Disputes
If you have a dispute about a charge, please contact us at support@tryguardian.dev before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We will work with you to resolve the issue. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in account suspension.
